The Cozy Mountain Chalet is nested in a quiet wooded area, close to wonderful hiking trails, and ski hills. The property, bordered by a stream, is an ideal place for nature lovers. Enjoy a great location in a peaceful setting.
 
The chalet has been fully renovated while maintaining its original charm. One queen size bed and two twin size beds (trundle bed) are available. The bedrooms are accessible via a steep and narrow staircase, undeniably charming but not for everyone.  The kitchen has what is needed for cooking and enjoying meals. Linen and towels are provided.
 
The chalet is close to the Long Trail  hiking trail and less then 500 yards from the Smugglers' Notch ski resort. The chalet’s location makes it feel secluded yet close by is Smuggler’s Notch, ski hills, hiking trails and a pub, all within walking distance. In the village of Jeffersonville 5 miles from chalet, one can find restaurants, a post office, hair salon, art galleries, canoe rental.  The chalet is a 2 minute drive to Smuggler's Notch ski resort, however in winter the notch road between the chalet and Stowe mountain is closed, the drive around to Stowe is approx. 50 minutes.
 
You can choose from a variety of activities in the area ranging from wine tasting, disc golf, canoeing  hiking to ziplining. Don't forget to set aside time to rest, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.

From mid-October to mid-May the direct route thorough the notch over the mountain to Stowe is closed.  The drive around from the chalet is a 50-minute drive.

The Brewster Chalet offers a great view of the Brewster river. It has two bedrooms, a workstation area and a well-equipped kitchen.  Close access from the main road, yet feels private and offers a secluded backyard.  The chalet is a 3 minute drive to Smuggler`s Notch, and central to many great hiking trails.

The Charming Vermont Log Cabin is comfortable and is a great place for your family and friends to get together. There are many hiking trails in the area. One mile from Smuggler's Notch and to great skiing.  Within a few miles you can canoe, play golf frisbee,go to a tasking room at the distillery and lots more. The wedding barn is 2 minutes away
You can also choose to stay in and relax by the fireplace or out on the porch swing.

The main floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with 2 single beds as well as a bathroom with an in bath shower.
The second floor has a 3rd bedroom with a queen size bed and an ensuite with shower. Each bedroom has its own air conditionning unit.

Outdoor dining space and a gas grill are available. A firepit with seating for 6 people is there for you!

Jeffersonville/Cambridge has family restaurants, an art gallery, a multi function trail, for walking or biking. Smuggler's Notch ski hill is 1 mile up the mountain and great hiking 1 mile further. A well stocked village grocery store and an organic food store can be found in the village.

The chalet is located in a quiet area, yet 400 yards from Smuggler`s Notch ski center. The Long Trail hiking trail is a walkable distance. Enjoy the sound of the stream, behind the property. After a day outdoor, a great place to relax with friends.

The gas fireplace makes for a relaxing atmosphere.The master bedroom, with queen size bed, on the second floor is accessible via a spiral staircase. A door leads to a small balcony overlooking the stream. The 2nd bedroom with a double bed has a large window overlooking the forest outback. There is a large back porch with table and chairs.
The TV has only the basic Roku channel.

The chalet is not suitable for children 8 years old and under. 

The chalet is in the mountain but close to amenities. The village of Jeffersonville has restaurants, an art gallery, gas stations, grocery and liquor store. The next village, Cambridge has a winery that offers tours.

The gas fireplace is the main heating system. Easy to use and great to look at.
